Treat Your Family to a Botanical Visit

From June 1–August 31, Garden admission on Wednesdays will be Buy One Get One free from 9 am–8 pm. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the Mabel Thome Patio, discover gorgeous summer blooms, or simply take a relaxing stroll through the Garden and experience Habitat, an exhibit that explores the critical need for varied habitats, how interconnected and fragile they are, and what we can do to protect them.

Habitat was developed by Smithsonian Gardens and is made available by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service.

Only have an hour to two to spare? Drop in for an Express Tour of the Garden from 10–11 am or participate in hands-on nature activities and habitat exploration for families from 10 am–12 pm at the Discovery Station in the lower level of Fischer Visitor Center
