Bastille Days is Back!

Beignets are back! l’Alliance Française has been involved with the wonderful and popular Bastille Days festival on Cathedral Square Park since its creation in 1982 with East Town Association. This is the largest Bastille Days celebration in North America.

This year’s festival will include our famous beignets and cultural tent (marché, raffle, chat in French), French mini-lessons taught by AF profs on the Kilbourn Stage, and pétanque on the square. Our aim is to promote cultural diversity and creatively connect our members and anyone who shares a passion for the French language and its many global cultures. This event is free and open to the public, for Francophones and Francophiles. Visitors can purchase beignets and other items.
